The National Children's Guild Fund (NCGF), a program of The Children's Guild Institute, is dedicated to transforming schools and other child-serving organizations nationwide through its philosophy of Transformation Education (TranZed). We do this by supporting the organizations that test, practice and promote methods for transforming how people care for and educate children and youth with a variety of disadvantages, including trauma-related behavior disorders, autism spectrum disorders, multiple disabilities and ineffectual education.
Through these organizations, which include The Children's Guild, Upside Down Organization and Monarch Academy Public Charter School, and our endowment, NCGF will create environments that motivate discovery, enrich the spirit and stimulate the intellect; provide teachers and caregivers with tools to motivate growth and development; create cultures that are youth-brain compatible; and arm administrators and managers with techniques to more effectively manage their organizations. These new approaches, put into practice, will help underserved children, adolescents and young adults become productive and empowered members of society, rewarded with more skills, opportunities and hope for their futures.
