The Children’s Guild selects an honoree to receive the coveted Sadie Award. The Sadie is presented to the individual or individuals who embody the spirit of “making the impossible possible.” The Children’s Guild is delighted to announce that the 2011 Sadie Award recipients will be Frank and Janet Kelly. Guided by a deep commitment to faith, community, family, and philanthropy, Frank and Janet have a history of public service, business success and civil involvement.  Frank is the founder and chairman of Kelly & Associates Insurance Group, Inc. and a former Maryland State Senator from Baltimore County for 12 years. He was one of the primary sponsors of legislation that created the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
