If you are a Maryland state or federal employee, it's easy to contribute to The Children's Guild, which serves young people with emotional, behavioral and mental disabilities in Maryland. Your contribution helps The Children's Guild help troubled children overcome the obstacles of severe trauma, mental illness, learning disabilities, family dysfunction and poverty, providing educational and therapeutic services that transform them into mature, successful members of society.
To get started, provide your HR representative with the proper designation code listed below, and you can have your charitable contribution to The Children's Guild automatically deducted from your paycheck. Then, at tax time, you can deduct your entire contribution, if you itemize.
