The Children’s Guild provides programs and services to help children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional disorders rise above the obstacles of severe trauma from life experiences, mental illness, learning disabilities, family dysfunction, and autism and multiple disabilities.

The Children’s Guild’s educational programs are approved by the Maryland State Department of Education, and its child-caring programs and mental health center are licensed by the Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. The Children’s Guild is also a Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) internationally-accredited organization.
The Children’s Guild day schools in Baltimore City and Prince George’s County are accredited by the National Commission for the Accreditation of Special Education Services.
The Children’s Guild is a proud member of the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, the Maryland Association of Nonpublic Special Education Facilities (MANSEF), and the Maryland Chamber of Commerce.
